Seattle General Contractors, Condominium Building Envelope Remediation

This 27 unit condominium building in Fremont, Seattle suffered from many years of deferred maintenance.  Keever and Associates, Seattle General Contractors was hired by the Home Owner Association to provide General Construction services to restore the building.  This Seattle construction project involved removing and replacing all the siding, windows, sliding glass doors, waterproof decks, railings, and roofing.  The existing siding had been leaking for so long it was many areas of rot were discovered that were seriously impacting the building’s structural integrity.  Keever and Associates, worked with the owners and design team to find cost effective solutions to the structural problems discovered once the project was under way.  Even after reframing many of the delapitated decks, and almost the entire south elevation Keever and Associates, Seattle General Contractors were able to bring the project in on time and under budget.  Great care was taken to accommodate the owners while construction was on going.  When we had to remove and replace entire sections of the south elevations to repair the compromised framing none of the owners/tenants were forced to move out of their homes.
