Ed Keever, President
Ed manages all pre-pricing and cost estimating, including negotiating costs for materials and bids from sub-contractors. He makes sure that each project remains on budget, and will help suggest ways to keep costs down through value engineering evaluating materials and construction methods to achieve the most cost effective results without sacrificing quality.
Ed began his career in construction during high school as a laborer with his father’s development company. After graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in accounting, Ed joined Lane Building Corporation full time as superintendent. Ed quickly moved his way up to project manager and oversaw the development of multiple shopping centers in King County.
Other commercial projects he managed included apartment buildings, schools, warehouses and office buildings throughout the Puget Sound region.
In 1977, Ed struck out on his own and started Keever and Associates. Under his guidance, the company has built hundreds of custom residential homes, commercial buildings, remodels and tenant improvements.
Kyle Keever, VP, Project Manager
As Project Manager, Kyle is on site every day to oversee and direct work, including the scheduling and management of sub-contractors and supply deliveries. He is responsible for making sure each project runs smoothly and remains on schedule. This benefits our clients as they have direct daily contact with a principal in the company.
Like his father, Kyle got his start working with the family business on construction sites as a laborer in high school. Kyle graduated from the University of Puget Sound in 1993 with a degree in Chemistry and Mathematics. He worked for an environmental consulting firm testing air and soil samples before returning to the Northwest to pursue a career in construction. Joining Keever and Associates in 1997, Kyle has worked his way up from carpenter, to foreman, to project manager, and has personally remodeled two houses, including his current home, a vintage 1912 craftsman house.
